H & P Technologies, Inc. is a fast-growing industrial distributor and service company based in Warren, Michigan. We are searching for an Order Entry Clerk to join our team.
As an Order Entry Clerk, you’ll be responsible for researching, processing, and resolving questions about billing, orders, and pricing. We’ll train you on the information you need to know to help ensure your success.
Responsibilities
- Communicate with customers regarding payment arrangements and billing issues, as needed.
- Organize, register, scan, and file invoices, checks, and other documents.
- Build rapport with customers, vendors, and sales personnel.
- Assist with monthly collection of accounts receivable and increasing collection rate.
- Assist with review and correction of billing account issues.
- Assist in overseeing accounts receivable function.
- Assist the Accounting and Purchasing Department with administrative tasks.
- Enhance product and technical knowledge by studying new product information and participating in training and educational opportunities.
Background & Experience
- Customer Focus and understanding of total customer satisfaction.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and grammar.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel and other corporate productivity tools.
- Possess an energetic, outgoing, and friendly demeanor.
- Aptitude to learn about technical products and provide technical support to customers.
- Excellent people and relationship building skills
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Customer service experience preferred.
