What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accountant position at H?
Essential Duties include but not limited to:
- Accounts Payable - Expense report reconciliations, coding vendor invoices and matching invoices with POs and packing slips. Research and resolve vendor invoice and payment issues. Prepare checks, payments and bank deposits; Other A/P related duties as needed.
- Accounts Receivable - Invoice customers, process incoming customer payments. Perform day to day A/R transactions. Resolve collection issues. Process customer claims of invoice payment, charge backs, returns, and bad checks.
- Journal Entries/Month-End Closing - Bank and Credit Card Reconciliation, Book month end entries such as expense accruals, prepaid and other close entries, and Collate and analyze account data and generate financial reports
- Audit and maintain inventory/fix asset records
- Assist with annual audit process
- Assist budgeting and internal control systems
- Maintain complete filing system to support financial records
- Other duties as assigned
