Salary:
$19 to $23 per hour
General Purpose:
Responsible for the assembly and inspection of pumps and spares assemblies.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for production/assembly of pumps, small parts and spares assemblies meeting quality and quantity standards.
- Perform complete assembly operations, basic knowledge and use of measuring devices.
- Understand and adhere to drawing specifications, test procedures and quality standard; Visually inspect work.
- Participate in and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by offering opportunities and ideas for quality and efficiency improvement
- Ensure daily work is carried out in a clean and organized environment with a strong emphasis on 5S habits.
- Provide support and assistance to other departments as needed.
- Must be willing to work overtime as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Able to multi-task the activities with shifting priorities.
- Basic understanding of hydraulics and electronics.
- Possess a basic level of analytical and mechanical skills.
- Excellent Work Ethic.
- Good hand-eye coordination.
- Team Player.
- Experience with use of standard mechanics tools used in assembly processes.
- Must be able to stand for several hours and lift up to 30 pounds 20% of the time during a normal shift.
- Comply with all company safety policies and procedures.
- Must provide own hand tools and a good working knowledge to safely use hand and power tools.
Education and/or Training:
- Minimum High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum 5 years related experience.
