Salary:

$19 to $23 per hour

General Purpose:

Responsible for the assembly and inspection of pumps and spares assemblies.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for production/assembly of pumps, small parts and spares assemblies meeting quality and quantity standards.
• Perform complete assembly operations, basic knowledge and use of measuring devices.
• Understand and adhere to drawing specifications, test procedures and quality standard; Visually inspect work.
• Participate in and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by offering opportunities and ideas for quality and efficiency improvement
• Ensure daily work is carried out in a clean and organized environment with a strong emphasis on 5S habits.
• Provide support and assistance to other departments as needed.
• Must be willing to work overtime as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Able to multi-task the activities with shifting priorities.
• Basic understanding of hydraulics and electronics.
• Possess a basic level of analytical and mechanical skills.
• Excellent Work Ethic.
• Good hand-eye coordination.
• Team Player.
• Experience with use of standard mechanics tools used in assembly processes.
• Must be able to stand for several hours and lift up to 30 pounds 20% of the time during a normal shift.
• Comply with all company safety policies and procedures.
• Must provide own hand tools and a good working knowledge to safely use hand and power tools.

Education and/or Training:

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 5 years related experience.
