The Program Development Engineering group at Haartz is looking for a passionate and highly motivated plastics or chemical engineer to join our growing team! New ideas, new technologies and new ways of thinking are driving our future!

This is what you will be doing:

As a Program Development Engineer, you will be responsible for development and launch activities for new programs, leading meetings internally and with customer/OEMs.  Writing, scheduling, and processing production sample trials. Understanding and meeting customer/OEM requirements, including color, testing, and material orders.  Managing multiple high priority projects while meeting internal and external timelines.  Troubleshooting processing/testing concerns; both internally and in customer processes.  You will work with the team to make recommendations and implement changes to new system designs and working with the team to integrate changes or updates to plant equipment.

This is what you should bring:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Plastics Engineering, Chemical Engineering, and/or related engineering degree required with 0-1 years of related engineering experience.
• Self-motivated and driven with good communication skills and the ability to problem solve and make decisions independently
• Computer skills, including proficiency with MS Office required.

• Must be available to work flexible schedules and be willing to travel.
