What are the responsibilities and job description for the Scheduler / Construction Manager position at Haggard Home Cabinetry & Design?
Do you have experience in the construction industry? Are you super organized and a good communicator? Haggard Home is looking to hire a construction manager / Scheduler to help us stay organized and punch out our projects. The ideal candidate will be an organized team player who is able to juggle a number of different things at a time, an excellent communicator and someone who is strong that is able to deliver items to job-sites and help out on punch-outs in the field. This sometimes includes adjustments to cabinets, being able to asses a problem and troubleshoot construction issues so construction experience is a big plus, especially if you have ever dealt with cabinet installations.
The list of duties for this valuable teammate will include:
Collecting sign-offs from customers and coordinating payment with bookkeeper
Placing orders for products once clients have signed off
Checking in orders once they arrive and inspecting for damage
Being the point person for all job timelines. You will work with the designer that sold the job and schedule the delivery, installations and follow-up with the designer, installers, vendors and customers.
Going out into the field to pick up and deliver materials (this sometimes requires lifting heavy objects and picking up parts/pieces from various vendors around town.
You need knowledge of general construction and cabinet installation is perferred. You will need to know how to do minor adjustments of cabinets, installing hardware, caulking of trim, etc. This can be taught if you don't know how to do this but you must be willing to learn and to complete these kinds of tasks.

Pay: $15.00 - $21.00 per hour
