What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales/Customer Support position at Hailiang America Corporation?
The Sales/Customer Support will be responsible for supporting the company’s sales team and providing customer service.
Primary Responsibilities Include but not limited to:
· Perform customer service for all customers related to order process, discrepancies, pricing or receivables
· Review discrepancies, process RMA’s for customers as needed and communicate with the warehouses on receipt or item credits
· Create shipment labels as needed for RMA’s
· Process freight claims and follow until completion
· Process back orders to ship
· Process sales orders, Data entry and processing of all customer PO’s for company products, Save orders in proper files, Confirm orders to customer, Create shipping documents for the warehouses, check pricing against quotes, make freight quote request when needed, working with brokers for the best price, send warehouse shipment documents along with detailed order instructions, Review stock availability for out of stock items with related companies, Process SO/PO for out of stock shipments, Follow orders until completion.
· Communicate with customers as needed on pricing issues, shipments and stock availability
· Review customer shipment invoices and approve for payment.
· Support team members and fill in when needed.
Communicate with offsite team and assist with task questions/issues
HS degree and related work experience required, college degree preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills required, ability to work through challenging situations, able to handle high work volume and great time management skills.
Microsoft skills and knowledge of SAP Operating System is beneficial.
Strong ability to pay attention to details is desired.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.50 per hour
