Job Summary
Reporting to the Accounts Receivable Manager, the Accounts Receivable Team Lead uses advanced experience and organizational skills to provide elevated support and leadership to AR teammates.
The Team Lead works closely with the Manager to design and implement training plans, assign tasks, and administer day-to-day department functions.
Additionally, the Team Lead provides escalated support and guidance for Accounts Receivable processes and troubleshoots cash application issues.
He or she also engages with teammates to review individual successes and challenges in support of the Manager’s overall performance and development goals.
Further, the Team Lead leads, organizes, or contributes to both intra- and inter-departmental projects, system conversions, and other initiatives.
Job Duties
Directly oversee and supervise daily operations of the Accounts Receivable Team.·Design and execute department training and onboarding plans and organize resources;
train the trainer and train individual teammates as needed.·Identify, gather, organize, and maintain department reference and instructional resources.
- Provide escalated support and guidance to team members regarding cash application, account reconciliations, and customer service issues.
- Organize day to day operations such as work assignments and support team members in balancing workloads; assist Manager and Specialist with overall team reorganization due to staffing changes.
- Lead periodic alignment meetings with team members to support Manager’s formal Performance Reviews; collaborate with Manager to plan team development.
- Assist Manager in identifying and developing metrics as it relates to individual and team performance. Prepare incremental reporting and provide remediation where necessary.
- Use system knowledge, experience, and judgment to advise Manager of process, procedure, and policy issues; recommend projects or policy changes to resolve issues.
- Contribute to interdepartmental projects as appropriate and as directed by Manager, including acquisitions, system conversions and implementations, and collaborations with Accounting and Internal Audit

Education, Training, Experience
Required
Associate or bachelor’s Degree highly preferred but experience may be substituted for education.·Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office application functional knowledge.

Environmental Conditions
Accounts Receivable Team Leader visiting or working at Profit Centers are exposed to the following conditions in the job :
Warehouses with no climate control, potentially hazardous equipment (such as forklift trucks, mechanical lift gates, hand tools, manual material handling equipment, ladders, and rubber retention straps).
The Profit Center may stock, sell, and use hazardous materials PVC pipe cement, pool chemicals, torch gas, propane gas, solvents, etc.
You may be required to be around these stored materials.
