The principal purpose of the Consumer Health Manufacturing Product Owner is to 'own' and lead the technical aspects of a product or product family at a global level to ensure that the product is delivered to the highest levels of quality and robustness and consistently across different sites globally.
This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:
- Ensure all aspects of Product Quality Lifecycle management are applied to the product(s) including a current Technical Risk Assessment, Product Control Strategy.
- Ensure a data driven continuous improvement program is in place for the dose forms/ products driving quality, cost and efficiency improvements.
- Ensure an appropriate means of pro-actively interpreting the trending of manufacturing and analytical performance of the product, including stability, highlighting trends and making recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Engaged as required in the assessment and management of all aspects of post-approval change to ensure that product quality is maintained, and the appropriate change controls are in place.
- Provide technical leadership and input into root cause analyses to support complex investigations and resolution of product complaints and product deviations and investigations, in conjunction with QA and sites/CMOs.
- Assess new raw material suppliers and work with Material Science and procurement teams on the interpretation of data to approve new alternative raw material suppliers.
- Ensures all work by the team is conducted in accordance with written procedures (e.g., quality and safety), methods & batch documents, etc.
- Produces, contributes, or approves, departmental quality documentation (including SOP's, batch documentation, manufacturing protocols & reports, product specifications & development reports).
- Provides technical leadership during technology transfer of products into Supply Chain from R&D and out to other sites ensuring Quality by Design principles are applied and a robust, well understood process is transferred with a well-defined and appropriate Product Control Strategy.
- Provides technical product advice and training to site product owners and key stakeholders ensuring that sites have appropriate product knowledge and training to fully execute the Product Control Strategies.

Basic Qualifications:
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
- Bachelor Science degree in Chemistry, pharmacy, engineering, or related science discipline
- 3 years of experience in consumer products
Preferred Qualifications:
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
- Masters, or relevant practical site work experience
- Thorough understanding of Drug and Food GMPs as relevant to Haleon products as well as familiar with FDA, and regulatory requirements, such as ICH
- Excellent understanding of scientific and commercial aspects of Consumer Healthcare industry
- Deep understanding of Quality of Design (QbD), Operational Excellence (OE) and Value Engineering/ Design to Value. Strong technical knowledge with excellent leadership skills
- Specialization in a relevant area such as formulation development or drug product development
- Expert knowledge on product manufacturing processes including unit operation understanding, device/packaging processes, plant equipment and analytical testing
- Demonstrated expertise in the development of conventional and potentially novel formulation dosage forms with track record of improving products, processes and troubleshooting

The salary range for this role is: $93,224 - $139,836
