Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: “Essential functions” are primarily job duties that incumbents must be able to perform unassisted or with some reasonable accommodation made by the employer.
- Supports marketing department with administrative tasks.
- Employs marketing analytic techniques to gather important data (social media, web analytics, rankings etc.).
- Assists with the firm’s online presence through assistance composing and posting content to the company’s website and social media platforms.
- Conducts research for marketing and business development purposes.
- Inputs and maintains data in the firm's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
- Assists with seminars, receptions, client and business development events. This includes but is not limited to invite list creation, RSVP tracking, name badge creation, guest registration, preparation of give-away items, catering logistics, etc.
- Assists with researching and proposing firm and attorney nominations for various publications.
- Tracks attorney and firm memberships.
- Assists with maintaining inventory on promotional products for specific events, both internal and external.
- Participate in various marketing meetings, help prepare meeting notes and track status of action items.
- Supports marketing team with new attorney set up process.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
- Knowledge of marketing administration at a level normally acquired through completion of a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration or equivalent two plus years of marketing experience in a service-oriented environment.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Knowledge of market research techniques and databases.
- Experience using Adobe InDesign and WordPress is a plus.
- Knowledge of marketing computer software and online applications such as CRM tools, online analytics, online advertising.
- Proficient in MS Office; with a focus on Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to meet deadlines and complete day-to-day projects in a timely fashion.
- Self-motivated, able to work independently and within a team environment.
- Ability to interact and communicate well with colleagues at all levels; including partners, associates and other administrative team members.
- Excellent writing, grammar and proofreading skills.
- Ability to demonstrate impeccable integrity in confidential matters.
- Work may require more than 40 hours per week to perform essential duties of the position; may require irregular hours.
- Work requires sitting, bending, stooping, computer keyboarding and continuous use of the hands, telephone contact, reading, and lifting of 25-50 lbs. or more.
- Work may also require travel to Regional Offices and offsite locations, therefore work requires driving.
- Under certain circumstances the Firm may substitute experience for educational requirements and vice versa.
