Hall's Culligan of Wixom is searching for an experienced Route Manager to lead our team of Route Sales Representatives. The Route Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of the day to day business and sales operations in the bottle water department. The Route Manager will lead his or her team to achieve successful route operation, route and customer retention and sales through new customer growth.
The best candidates must exhibit good people management skills, be able to recognize, prioritize and accomplish daily, weekly, and monthly goals and to motivate sales staff.

Responsibilities
- Coordinates daily operational needs of the route team
- Hire, maintain and train staff as needed
- Coach/train employees and conducts weekly department meetings
- Plans, distributes, monitors, and follows-up daily route assignments to ensure customers are serviced per company standards and agreements
- Sets and monitors productivity and safety targets for each route driver
- Proactively manage overtime to company standard
- Reviews weekly demand / volume for routes, determines potential gains from re-routing, and recommends re-routes when necessary
- Establishes and maintains a clean, safe work environment in compliance with Company/Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards
Qualifications
- Experience in transportation, logistics, route/plant operations preferred, in which coaching, routing assessments, and leading employees were requirements of the role
- Must possess outstanding communication and customer service skills
- Self-motivated, high energy individual
- History of meeting and/or exceeding monthly, quarterly and annual goals
- Valid driver’s license is required with clean driving record
- Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 90 pounds
- Successful completion of pre-employment screenings
