DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
The purpose of the Supply Chain Organization is to create a competitive advantage for DaySpring through purchasing, planning and distributing products and services which provide a lasting value to our customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Day-to-day direction of shop floor within their assigned area; leads an assigned team in Distribution / Warehouse while also functioning as a member of the team;
resolves day-to-day productivity and team issues while looking for areas to improve team performance.
DUTIES
1. Coordinate and lead work team while providing a specific functional role.
2. Resolve shipping, inventory, team and scheduling issues for functional area.
3. Initiates, facilitates and leads incremental improvement efforts in their assigned area.
4. Attend various meetings with or in place of Area Manager when needed.
5. Coordinates team training and overall development of team members.
6. Operate through influence to resolve cross-team or cross-departmental issues.
7. Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
8. Other reasonably related duties as assigned

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- You must have these to be considered for this role : *
- High school diploma / GED or equivalent
- Two or more years of experience in order fulfillment
- Six months or more of management experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
You will stand out if you have these : *
Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering or Statistics
APICS, CSCP, and / or CLTD certification
Ability to understand the big picture, but able to work on the small details that roll up to create and support that picture
Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
Safety-minded
A calm, unifying demeanor when problems arise
Understanding of and appreciation for DaySpring mission
