- Minimum of 1 year experience
- American Heart BLS Certification
- Compliance with state-specific supervision and licensing standards
- A Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) collaborates with occupational therapists to develop and execute treatment plans to help patients achieve their goals.
- Conducts screenings, assessments, and therapy services under the guidance of an Occupational Therapist (OTR).
- Assists with documentation, progress tracking, and preparation of therapy materials.
- Maintains student records, implements behavior management programs, and supports a clean, organized learning environment in a classroom setting.
- Completing required orientation and following safety protocols
- Respecting patient cultural and religious practices
- Adhering to HIPAA regulations and being punctual for assigned shifts
