We are looking for a detail oriented dependable individual that wants to join a quickly growing team of blown glass artisans. This positions primary responsibility will be to cold work blown and cast glass pieces produced by our hot shop team. Utilize Infoscan system to track finished glass product to ensure accuracy of stocked finish glass goods. You will have the opportunity to cross train in Warm Glass and the Hot Shop.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Cold work blown and cast glass pieces including drilling, cutting, polishing, and cleaning.
• Follow instructions and standard operating procedures diligently to produce glass pieces that meet quality standards.
• Operate molds for the hot shop teams during blown glass production which involves operating a propane torch and working around molten glass.

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• This position works primarily in a Hot Shop which includes high levels of heat and working closely around flames and furnaces.
• This position requires the ability to continually bend, stoop, stand, sit, bend wrists, physically blow air out of the mouth, lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly, and climb steps.
