Sales Support Coordinator
Hampshire Farms is seeking a motivated, forward-thinking quality oriented Sales Support Coordinator to provide support to the Director of Sales. This position demands a high level of engagement and organization. Under the direction of the Director of Sales, the Sales Support Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and facilitating activities and tasks with Purchasing, Shipping and working with the Sales Department.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee, execute sales initiatives and process sales and purchasing orders in a prompt and timely manner.
- Ensure orders are being received and processed on time.
- Maintain accurate records of vendor orders.
- Develop and maintain vendor relationships.
- Manage inventory, monitor and report inventory to Management.
- Confirm ship dates are met while ensuring successful delivery of store shipments per customer guidelines.
- Facilitate communications between Sales, Merchandising and Operations.
- Participate in Company initiatives to meet or exceed sales and financial targets.
- Provide support to Sales and Management on assigned project based work.
- Complete Competitor shopping.
- Manage social media page such as Facebook and Instagram.
- Work closely with our on-line customers.
- Researches new innovated plants or displays that can be used for store level.
Perform all other Sales job duties as assigned and complete assigned tasks within established guidelines and timeframes.
EDUCATIONAL, KNOWELDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- HS Diploma with some college coursework preferred.
- Reporting Skills, Administrative Writing Skills, Microsoft Office Skills, Managing Processes, Organization, Analyzing Information , Professionalism, Problem Solving, Supply Management, Inventory Control, Verbal Communication. Be flexible and eager to learn new things.
- Strong knowledge of order processing and product shipment.
- Proven organizational skills and ability to process sales orders from inception to completion.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate with all levels of employees, customers and vendors both verbally and in writing.
Hampshire Farms is the primary supplier of perennial flowers for Home Depot stores in the Midwest. We currently have 20 acres in production including a 1,000,000 square foot wholesale greenhouse located 40 miles west of Chicago.
