What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hotel Houseperson position at Hampton Inn & Suites?
- Assist Room Attendants with laundry and supplies.
- Strips vacant rooms as needed
- Picks up dirty laundry and deliver to appropriate location for laundry cleaning
- Delivers clean laundry to attendants for rooms.
- Delivers supplies to guests as requested.
- Stock inventories to ensure adequate supplies.
- Issues supplies and equipment to workers.
- Examines rooms, halls, and lobbies to determine need for repairs or replacement of furniture or equipment,and makes recommendations to management.
- Attends training seminars to perfect housekeeping techniques and procedures,and enhance supervisory skills.
- Clean all public areas and remove trash from housekeeping carts as well as public area
- Clean parking lot and outside areas.
- Setting up and breaking down of meeting rooms when required and making sure that the meeting room is always "show ready."
- Attends periodic staff meetings with other department heads to discuss company policies and patrons complaints, and to make recommendations to improve service and ensure more efficient operation.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $10.00 - $11.00 per hour
