Hancock & Dana PC is currently seeking a talented HR Coordinator to join our office in Omaha, Nebraska. In this role, we are looking for an outgoing individual responsible to provide strategic direction for human resource functions. This person will have strong organizational skills and be able to multitask to effectively provide our team with the necessary support.
Experience and Skills Required
· Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information
· Maintain a positive attitude in line with our company culture
· Adept with new technologies and curiosity to learn new processes
· Effective written communication skills appropriate for a professional service firm
· Experience using Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook
· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or a related field
· Experience in human resources preferred
Responsibilities:
· Direct the recruiting and staffing process, including sourcing, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding
· Assists in administering and enrollment of employee benefits programs such as 401k, health and life insurance, and health savings accounts
· Determines and recommends employee relations practices necessary to establish positive relationships for retaining staff
· Manages all career development and coaching functions
· Coordinate annual performance evaluation process
· Organize and execute employee engagement initiatives such as firm events, appreciation and recognition programs, and volunteering
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
