We are currently seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented individual for the role of Housekeeper Manager with Management Responsibilities. This position is a hands-on housekeeping role with added managerial duties, making it a crucial part of our spa management team.
Position Overview:
As a Housekeeper Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the spa while also managing key aspects of the housekeeping operations. This role requires not only a keen eye for cleanliness but also effective management skills to oversee various tasks and provide support to the spa's daily operations.
Key Job Duties:
Cleaning and Sanitization:
- Perform daily cleaning tasks, ensuring all spa areas are impeccably clean, organized, and sanitized.
- Ensure restrooms, common areas, and service provider rooms meet and exceed cleanliness standards.
- Oversee the janitorial service and provide feedback on their performance.
Laundry and Linen Care:
- Manage and maintain the laundry process, ensuring towels, robes, and linens meet the highest standards.
- Supervise the inventory and restocking of linen supplies.
Organization and Stocking:
- Keep the breakroom organized and clean.
- Check in and properly store supplies (excluding retail items).
- Provide backup support for the front desk when needed.
Management Responsibilities:
- Train and manage the PT Housekeeper, ensuring the team is well-versed in spa cleanliness standards.
- Monitor and provide feedback on staff adherence to cleanliness and organizational guidelines.
- Address any inappropriate conversations or behavior, acting as a liaison between staff and management.
- Training and coaching staff on cleaning and sanitation standards.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in housekeeping, preferably in a spa or hospitality setting.
Strong organizational and managerial skills.
Ability to multitask and work independently.
Knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and equipment.
Understanding of health and safety regulations.
Physical ability to perform various housekeeping tasks.
Excellent communication skills.
