Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa provides massages, facials and waxing services 7 days a week.
We are seeking a Financial Analyst to report to the CFO/Comptroller for a large multi-unit Franchisee in New Jersey. Full-time position health/401K benefits with the ability to work from home 90% of the time. Must be located in Ocean County or Monmouth County New Jersey.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Gather, consolidate, analyze, and present operating and business data and insights to support and/or drive business decisions and improve Spa performance
- Lead and participate in various daily, weekly, and monthly meetings on a wide variety of topics (mostly phone calls)
- Areas include key business drivers, Operations, Finance, IT, Recruiting, and Marketing/Advertising
- Lead the allocation of marketing spending for each location on an ongoing basis as well as continually evaluate the efficacy of the marketing spending
- Update/Refresh Recruiting Ads (e.g. - Indeed) to consistently attract qualified staff
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree with a concentration in Business, Economics, or Finance
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (in particular; must be very comfortable using Excel)
- 2 years in an analyst role (or similar). Zenoti software experience is a bonus.
- Demonstrated ability to get things done
- Must be able to work independently and also to work well with others including Retail Managers, CFO, HR, IT, Marketing/Advertising, as well as the owners of the business
- Friendly and enthusiastic and open to learning
- Great verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to write clear and brief well thought out documents/emails
- Must be comfortable speaking with different people in different situations
