Job Description
We currently have a unique opportunity for an individual with a flexible schedule. We are seeking an individual to be available on short notice who has caregiving experience and can step into situations with care, understanding, and compassion. Someone who understands caring for individuals in their homes and is also able to train and support current and new caregivers as well as identify needs with various clients and help adjust care plans. Below is a list of our caregiving responsibilities and specific requirements for this position.
Responsibilities
- Personal care (assistance with toileting, showering, transfers etc)
- Alzheimer's Care/Dementia Care
- Companionship
- Light housekeeping
- Assistance with meal prep and planning
- Errands/transportation
Qualifications
Short notice availability
Reliable vehicle in very good working condition for winter
Availability to start care for new clients, assess their needs, and provide useful feedback for their care plans.
Train caregivers who are starting with new clients and/or those who do not have experience
Good communication skills and quick responsiveness
Supervisory skills
