We are seeking a Financial Analyst, Hybrid Remote (home/office) will report to the Director of Finance, Supply Chain as part of the Finance Team supporting the Supply Chain business unit including but not limited to, Distribution, Fabrication, and Cost of Materials for all of Hanger, Inc.
Responsibilities include the support of monthly, quarterly and annual forecasting/budgeting cycles for certain Supply Chain departments and accounts. Additional responsibilities include variance analysis and communication with department owners about materials usage and its impact on rate, volume and mix in earnings.

Your Impact
- Adhere to the financial calendar ensuring milestones are achieved with ease, issues are resolved early and resolution communicated
- Provide leadership with routine and ad hoc reporting focused on identifying underlying business trends, and work directly with stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement; ability to quickly create new financial schedules
- Analyze financial and operational data, and develop financial models used to guide business decisions (e.g. profitability by customer/product line, price-volume-mix analyses, waterfalls and bridges for variances, etc.)
- Create and deliver formal presentations of financial results to senior management (Monthly Business Reviews, Budget Presentations, Strategic Plan Presentations, etc.), being the finance voice behind the numbers in support of business partners
- Work with business partners to identify opportunities to improve cost structure
- Participate in a variety of projects, preparing financial “what if” analyses, and written reports
- Provide timely responses and deliverables to requests from internal customers from functions including Sales, Customer Service, Procurement, Supply Chain Technology, Fabrication, Distribution, Accounting and segment owners
- Review and enhance analysis and analytical processes and controls
- Designs, automates and delivers standard monthly and quarterly reports
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting is required
- Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant work experience preferably in manufacturing environment
- Advanced-level experience with spreadsheet and database software, including the ability to work with complex tables and look-ups
- Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, possess sound judgement with the ability to learn quickly
- Analytical and problem solving skills with excellent verbal and written skills
- Intellectually curious with a willingness and desire to be an agent of change
- Ability to be detailed oriented and possess exceptional organization skills and will be able to meet established deadlines in a fast-paced environment
