What are the responsibilities and job description for the Office Assistant position at Hanker Systems Inc?

Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain calendars, scheduling appointments and meetings
- Provide administrative support, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and handling correspondence
- Assist with order entry and inventory management
- Perform clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, and scanning documents
- Maintain office supplies and ensure proper organization of office space
- Assist with data entry and record keeping
- Proofread documents for accuracy and completeness

Requirements:
- Previous experience in an administrative or office assistant role preferred
- Familiarity with dental or medical office procedures is a plus
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficient computer literacy, including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Morning shift
