Activities Assistant
Activity Assistant Responsibilities:
The Activity Assistant assists the recreational activities leader or activities director, helping Residents use equipment and supplies. Activities may include arts and crafts, outdoor activities, sports, music or drama. The Activity Assistant may prepare equipment and ensure the safety of residents in the activity.
The Activity Assistant assists in leading the participants in group activities, such as an exercise class or art project. The Activity Aide helps keep electronic records of participation and provide one on one activities.
The Activity Assistant assists in planning programs for residents, which can help to provide socialization, relaxation and exercise.
