Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Analyst

What’s the position?

We are looking for a candidate who will assist with but not limited to:

• Review, process, and correctly code all vendor invoices for payment
• Verify the accuracy of invoices based on contracts and other agreements
• Work with all necessary departments and vendors to ensure invoices are processed in a timely manner
• Maintain 1099s and generate all necessary end of year reports
• Work with the GL accounting team to ensure all intercompany invoices are completed and accurate on a monthly basis
• Issue payments to vendors via multiple methods including wire, check, ACH, etc
• Reconcile all company P-cards on a monthly basis and ensure all charges are coded to the correct GL accounts
• Develop, implement and maintain procedures and policies, including Accounts Payable functions, to ensure adherence to company guidelines
• Manage monthly close of Accounts Payable records and posting of month end information and ensure accuracy of amounts recorded in the financial statements

What are we looking for?

Preferred candidate skills and experience:

• Bachelor’s degree
• 3 years of experience 
• Experience in publicly traded and/or start-up organizations
• Experience in a digital company is preferred
• Understanding of GAAP and SOX
• Ability to work largely independently and in a team setting, while balancing multiple projects at any given time
• Top-level analytical skills
• Proficient in Excel
• Proficient in GL accounting software packages
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
