Crew Person
SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Cashiers and Cooks provide each customer with a positive customer service experience, prepare quality food products and keep the restaurant clean, pleasant & safe for all customers & employees. Customer Service / Cashier and Cook Responsibilities:
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide world class customer service at all times to our guests
- Smile & greet guests and request order immediately upon arrival
- Take orders & enter them into the point of sales terminal accurately
- Suggestive sell & answer menu questions
- Assemble orders, including condiments & other service items needed or requested
- Handle all cash & credit card transactions
- Clean & stock beverage bar.
- Clean dining room tables & seating.
- Recognize & adhere to all sanitation, safety, and security policies & procedures to ensure a safe environment for all.
- Maintain a cooperative, harmonious working relationship with management & fellow team members.
- Complete all the paperwork as required by the company and follow all policies & procedural guidelines as implemented by the management team.
- Cashiers and Cooks must also complete all the tasks delegated by the management before & after their shift.
PREREQUISITES:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
Experience and Skills: No previous experience required. Ability to understand and implement written and verbal instruction.
Physical: Must be able to work any area of the restaurant when needed and to operate a computerized Point of Sale system/cash register. Position requires bending, standing, and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
