Role Abstract
A project in the North Gateway District of Phoenix Arizona has an immediate opening for a safety admin/new hire coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for administrative duties to support the safety team including tracking employee information, assisting with badging and job-site logistics, organizing orientation information, and managing document control admin tasks. Successful candidate will demonstrate a high attention to detail, the ability to stay on top of multiple priorities, and have experience working in dynamic team environments.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate new hire logistics including security badging and safety orientation
- Assist new office employees through the parking/badging process and layout of the jobsite
- Escort visitors on and off site, and coordinate visitor badge requests
- Procure quotes from vendors and submit them to the purchaser for the safety team
- Manage document control tasks for the safety team including documentation of onsite specific incidents or injuries
- Manage termination and exit interview information
- Coordinate and schedule meetings, offsite lunches, and vendor events
- Participate in daily and weekly coordination meetings with the project team
- Miscellaneous support throughout the construction project
Requirements
- 3 years’ administrative experience supporting teams in a high-paced environment, preferably in a construction setting
- High school diploma required
- Work hours are 6:30am – 4:00pm, Monday-Thursday partial day Friday
- Self-starter who can manage multiple tasks concurrently
- Excellent organizational, time management, written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
