Software Tester

Harmonia has an opportunity for a Software Tester, with flair for automation. The position is 100% remote with a leading government consulting firm. Due to agency requirements, we are unable to consider anyone who requires sponsorship.

• Participate in test case writing and execution
• Identify and prepare test data for testing using SQL queries
• Provide regular updates to the Project Manager
• Maintain Project's manual test and automation documentation

Required Must Have Skills:

• Minimum 4 years' experience with Automation in a medium to large complex project.
• Hands-on experience in building automated test scripts to test Web Interfaces/applications, REST APIs/ Web-Services, and Databases (SQL/NoSQL PostgreSQL)
• Hands-on experience in Selenium with Python or Java coding for test automation.
• Knowledge of DevOps supporting CI/CD with tools such as Jenkins or similar tools.
• Participate in test case writing and execution – for manual test execution
• Identify and prepare test data for testing using SQL queries

Additional Skills / Knowledge Preferred:

• Working experience in an AGILE, SCRUM environment.
• Knowledge of tools like Karma, Protractor, Postman etc.
• Knowledge of Section 508 ICT Testing Baseline for web accessibility and usage of tools like ANDI, CCA
• Knowledge of frameworks like Angular, Node.JS, React etc.
• Knowledge of USWDS design systems, Bootstrap etc.
• Familiar with AWS fundamentals and core concepts.
• Knowledge of testing applications hosted in the AWS environment.

Clearance: Ability to obtain clearance from contractual Federal Agency.
