Role Description
We are looking for a solution manager responsible for the ASTC 1.0 & 3.0 solutions, reporting to the Vice President, Video Customer Solutions. The incumbent must demonstrate strong technical capabilities, preferably with a solution architecture background in headend and playout architectures.
You will be based in the US, preferably on the East Coast.
What you will be doing:
- Define ATSC 1.0 and 3.0 solution strategy / outbound messaging and execute it by supporting the sales and presales team in delivering on booking targets
- Leverage solution specific insights to build market “vision” that differentiates the company and collaborate with Corporate Marketing in building marketing campaigns to develop our ATSC 1.0 & 3.0 market awareness and adoption.
- Lead cross-company go-to-market strategy and business plan creation (including growth strategies) for the solution.
- Engage in consultative sales support (including by demonstrating the solution) with select customers and prospects, devoting time in the field with prospects, customers and partners.
- Assist Product Management in defining key product requirements, positioning and competitive analysis within each segment
- Collaborate with Product Marketing and Product Management to create unique sector specific messaging and a suite of sales enablement materials (i.e. white papers, webinar, marketing guides, solution-focused demos and customer presentations, blogs, etc.)
What you will need to succeed:
- Strong experience in headend architecture as well as business model for video distribution solutions. Experience in SaaS & Playout solutions is welcome.
- Proven track record partnering with cross-functional teams and leading successful go-to-market initiatives
- Experience influencing and communicating product and solution offers to customers, business organizations such as Pearl TV, the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB), salespeople, industry analysts, and trade press
- Excellent English written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Ability to think strategically and execute tactically with creative problem-solving skills
- Navigate external and internal organizations, identify the right stakeholders and decisions makers, unblock inhibitors and manage through persuasion.
Travel Requirements
- This job (including customer meetings and customer demonstrations) can essentially be performed remotely. Travel will be limited and in the US only.
