eShop Delivery Driver

$14.00 - $17.41 PER HOUR GENERAL PURPOSE:The purpose of this position is to ensure the and friendly delivery of Harmons’ products to stores and customers.  This person will be loading deliveries onto their vehicle, delivering to and between stores and delivering flowers to customers’ homes and workplaces, and delivering exceptional customer service.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:·         Follows established departmental and store policies and procedures·         Ensures the quality and freshness of all products and services delivered·         Receive and check incoming eStore orders·         Assemble orders as necessary to match individual eStore invoices·         Review and inspect orders ensuring that the correct specifications have been met·         Confirms pricing accuracy and signage for all products, paying particular attention to ad items·         Provide customer support efforts by using product knowledge·         Constantly be in touch with the daily updates and requirements of the customers·         Helps ensure product descriptions are accurate by communicating opportunities to Support Team·         Increase traffic to the website and strengthen Harmons customer loyalty·         Contacts customers to clarify requests·         Provide continuous improvement to website conversations and customer engagement·         Responsible for being an alert and courteous driver at all times·         Checks delivery invoice against what is being loaded into the delivery vehicle·         Scan each label/bag to insure all the customers groceries are being loaded into the delivery vehicle·         Makes deliveries to customers’ homes and workplaces·         Loads products to be delivered·         Performs a monthly fuel reconciliation·         Performs basic cleaning and maintenance on equipment such as totes, coolers, and crates used for deliveries, the delivery van and its shelves etc.·         Delivers excellent customer service to all customers·         Completes assigned tasks efficiently and in a timely manner·         Sets a professional and positive example to others·         Assists as needed to ensure the success of Harmons as a wholeMARGINIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:·         Performs other job-related duties as assignedNATURE OF WORK CONTACTS:·         Consistent and daily interaction with store associates·         Consistent and daily interaction with customersTRAINING & QUALIFICATIONS:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.A high school diploma or GED preferred; or any combination of education, experience, and training which provides the following knowledge, skills and abilities:·         Basic math skills·         Understanding of product rotation·         Must enjoy working with and handling grocery products·         Must possess Harmons’ Forklift Certification·         Must possess a valid Driver’s License and clean driving record·         Ability to interpret policies and procedures·         Excellent organization and planning skills·         Must possess solid communication skills, including verbal and listening skills in order to effectively and efficiently communicate with and manage diverse groups of people·         Must possess the ability to accept constructive review and be accountable for one’s own success as well as the success of your team·         Must possess integrity, a positive attitude, be mission-driven, and be self-directed with a demonstrated passion for Harmons’ mission and commitment to working collaboratively·         Continually strives to be product minded, customer minded, personnel minded, detailed, forward focused and consistent·         Ability to work weekends, evenings and holidaysPHYSICAL/SENSORY DEMANDS:The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an associate encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Work is generally performed in a safe and comfortable store environment with the possibility of frequent exposure to cold, hot, slippery, wet, and changing weather conditions.
