Senior Software Developer/Subject Matter Expert

Position Description:

HarmonyTech is currently looking for talented and self-motivated Senior .NET Developer/Subject Matter Expert with the ability to work in a challenging, consultative, and collaborative team environment.  We are seeking a candidate with hands-on development experience to lead a modernization effort of our client's legacy business applications. You shall provide support for new applications and services. Enhance existing applications and services. Implement applications/services to technical requirements and architectural and design specifications. Perform unit testing. Ideal candidate should have experience working with product owner & various stakeholders in gathering business & functional requirements, creating user stories, designing, and implementing the .NET solution using Agile methodology.

Location: Washington, DC 20581, Contingent on contract award

(May work remotely in accordance with contractor policies)

Required Skills:

• Minimum 7 years of hands-on software development experience
• Experience with SQL Server Data Tools projects in Microsoft Visual Studio
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in ASP.NET, WCF, MVC, C# and other .NET technologies
• Experience automating data Import/Extract tools such as SSIS
• Experience developing and maintaining reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
• In-depth experience in writing complex SQL, stored procedures, and functions
• OData and/or Team Foundation Server
• BizTalk
• Microsoft Azure platform
• Experience with database DevOps practices like continuous integration, automated testing, and deployment automation

Minimum Experience:

Minimum seven (7) years relevant experience

Required:

• Experience implementing line of business systems
• Technical Lead experience
• Ensure functionality of all applications/services
• Federal Government consulting experience
• Federal Government Public Trust clearance
• Experience with enterprise software upgrades
• Letter of commitment
• Full-time equivalent
