JOB SUMMARY:
Serves as the Registered Dietitian for the facility. Develops nutrition plans and implements interventions based on knowledge of patient's current health and health history. Implements personalized age-specific and culturally appropriate nutrition strategies and provides nutrition education and counseling for patients. Oversees processes in kitchen.
Shift: PRN
REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be a Registered Dietitian with the American Dietetic Association and maintain registration status.
- Must be credentialed by the IN Dietitians Certification Board as a dietitian and maintain certification status.
- Must submit to a PPD test annually.
- Annual fire/safety training
- Corporate Compliance
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelors degree required in Dietetics or related science.
- At least one year experience in clinical nutrition preferred, but not required.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
- Must have good verbal skills
- Must have good written skills
- Must be fluent in the English language.
