Travel is required and approximately 25 percent of the time.

Job Responsibilities:
- CxA will work with clients, design consultants, and construction team to deliver commissioning of applicable systems.
- CxA should have experience and demonstrate experience commissioning in regards to ASHRAE Standard 202.
- CxA should be familiar with commissioning requirements with regards to USGBC LEED rating systems.
- CxA should have experience in commissioning diverse system types and proficient in system diagnostic and evaluations .
- CxA should have a basic understanding of energy codes and how it impacts commissioning requirements.
- CxA should have a good understanding of controls and impacts on system operations.
Job Duties:
- CxA will work in a collaborative environment with Architects and Engineers to outline commissioning requirements to the owner and design team.
- CxA will be required to travel to site for commissioning activities.

CxA will be required to commission per ASHRAE standard 202.
- Write Owner Project requirements (OPR)
- Review Basis of Design (BOD)
- Write Commissioning Plan
- Conduct System Checks and Functional Performance Testing (FPTs)
- Conduct Construction meetings
- CxA should be able to provide a high level of quality control on their projects and meet project timelines.
- CxA will meet with clients to outlined commissioning requirements.
- CxA will be required to set and meet project budgets.
- CxA should be able to edit specifications per energy code requirements.
Management Requirements: 0-3 staff
Education Requirements: BSME or equivalent construction experience
Licensure Requirements: AABC Commissioning Agent (CxA) ASHRAE Commissioning Process Management Professional (CPMP), AEE Certified Building Commissioning Professional (CBCP), BCxA Certified Commissioning Professional (CCP) or NEBB Building Systems Commissioning Certification (BSC)
