Design Engineer

HGI Manufacturing has partnered up with a premier mobile equipment manufacturer in the Rochelle, IL area to bring on a Design Engineer. With orders booked out well into 2025, these guys are doing really from a business standpoint, and they are looking for a driven engineer that can help take them to the next level.

Responsibilities

• Use of mechanical design software to create and refine complete mechanical design concepts for machine designs.
• Know and understand the project scope, specifications, and any regulatory requirements that are applicable to the machine being developed.
• Complete mechanical design analysis as required to ensure the machine design will meet all project requirements.
• Create complete, organized, and detailed drawings that fully convey information to outside departments in accordance with established guidelines and standards.
• Create and execute Engineering Change Notifications (ECNs) that fully document and instruct action items to be taken.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering or relevant technical degree
• 3D modeling experience (preferably Inventor)
• Energy... need someone who's excited to come to work and solve complex problems every day
