Job Description

We are seeking an individual to join our team in our Newport, AR site.

We offer an hourly payrate of $20.43, as well as competitive benefits including health insurance, life insurance and disability plans with 401k- company matching.

Responsibilities:

1. Operating off-road type machinery including heavy mobile equipment (Ferro cut, Material Handler, Cold Loader, Terborg, Wet Plant Operator). 
2. May also be required to operate crushing and screening equipment.   
3. Perform and record routine mobile equipment pre-start and post inspections,
4. Complete required activity reports.
5. Follow all policies and rules of the company and the customer.
6. Maintain a high level of safety and abide by all safe work requirements.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications/Requirements:

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. 1 - 3 year's experience as a heavy equipment operator.
3. Do you have at least 6 months of experience operating heavy equipment?
4. Ability to do manual labor in an outdoor environment that may include elevated areas and extreme weather conditions.
5. Good communications skills, and the ability to read operating instructions.
6. Proactive in SAFETY and works well in a team environment. 
7. Must be alert and drug free at all times for the safety of the employee and his co-workers. 
8. Must be able to climb in and out of the equipment, which involves several steps and ladders, may be required to shift gears manually.
9. Employee may be re-assigned to other large off-road mobile equipment or may be required to perform manual laboring duties such as clean up, shoveling, etc.
