THE ROLE:We are looking for a talented Social Media intern to join our team for a summer internship. As a social media Intern, you will assist in creating content, following trends, copywriting, and driving brand awareness on LOL and Hartbeat socials.RESPONSIBILITIES:Assist in scheduling approved content to be published on social media at ideal times Assist with monitoring the social media channels and activitiesAssist in developing and curating content for social media channelsAssist with onset social capture Help to transport and set up video equipment Contribute to brainstorms/offer ideas for social media projects/opportunities Writing engaging copy that embodies the brand voiceStay on top of social media/industry trends and provide recommendations & insightWill report to the Senior Social Media Manager SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related fieldStrong written and verbal communication skillsPrevious experience working on social media platforms & knowledge of best practicesAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsPositive attitude and willingness to learnLos Angeles-basedHybrid work setting, In-office T-THSome travel required This role might be for you if:Student or recent grad interested in Social Media Marketing You like to rapidly iterate, learn on the fly, and dive into multiple projects Are you looking to have a meaningful impact on an early-stage startup and build a brand Video production experience is plus Has an interest in comedy WORK HARD, LAUGH HARDERLook, it’s called work for a reason.
