If that sounds like you, then you've landed in the right place. We are seeking an experienced and visionary Learning and Development program manager to join our Technology Learning Services team. The Program Manager will be dedicated to the Cloud Transformation and will be a core team member of the Change Management team, accountable for Cloud Learning and Development. This individual will work closely with technology leaders to identify training needs, develop training programs, and ensure that all employees have the necessary skills to succeed in their roles. Responsibilities: Collaborate with key stakeholders to define and align learning objectives with business goals. Partner with change team to align all change efforts surrounding Workforce Transformation, Communications, Stakeholder Management, and Learning and development to ensure a cohesive "end-user" experience related to Cloud Transformation activities. Facilitate the design and implementation of a long-term cloud learning strategy, encompassing both technical and leadership skills. Create a roadmap for delivering cloud-focused training programs, certifications, and learning resources. Develop and implement a portfolio of learning programs, including instructor-led training, self-paced learning, role-based learning, gamification, hands on learning, etc. Partner with subject matter experts to create engaging and effective learning content specific to cloud technologies. Evaluate and select external training providers, as needed, to supplement internal resources. Promote a culture of continuous learning and development by fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing among employees. Implement mechanisms for employees and leaders to provide feedback and suggest improvements to the learning programs. Establish metrics and mechanisms to track the effectiveness and impact of the cloud learning initiatives. Regularly communicate learning opportunities and successes to the organization. Stay abreast of the latest advancements in cloud technologies, certifications, and learning methodologies; Monitor industry trends and emerging practices in learning and development, specifically related to upskilling. Identify innovative approaches to integrate new technologies and learning platforms into the cloud learning strategy. Partner with Cloud Transformation leadership, HR, and business leaders to identify skill gaps and align learning initiatives with organizational needs. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud learning programs with existing learning management systems and platforms. Focus on continuous improvement of the learning programs and stay current with adult learning approaches; demonstrate the ability to adapt to technology changes. Understand the modern learning ecosystem and provide a holistic approach to learning with the learner experience in mind. Ensure integration with Cloud Advocacy group, ensuring alignment with Cloud Transformation learning strategy and approach, creating a cohesive end-to-end learning and knowledge management approach for learners. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience. Proven experience as a Learning and Development professional, preferably in the financial services or technology industry. Basic understanding of cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their business applications. Demonstrated ability to manage lead the execution of comprehensive learning strategies and programs. Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS), e-learning platforms, and authoring tools. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Strong project management abilities with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously. Analytical mindset with the ability to measure and evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs. Strong consultative skills with demonstrated behaviors: collaboration, teamwork, customer centricity. Readily able to build successful and productive business relationships. Demonstrated capacity to professionally communicate in a written and verbal format. Ability to understand the needs of the customer, influence stakeholders, and drive successful business outcomes. Ability to design, develop, edit, and update learning materials. This role can be Hybrid or Remote as aligned with the Hartford's Return to Office initiative: Hybrid: If you live within 25 miles of the following office locations: Hartford, CT/Charlotte, NC you will work in office at least 2 days a week. Remote: If beyond 25 miles from an office, this role will be 100% Remote, with the expectation of occasional in-office presence as business needs dictate. Compensation The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition.
