Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Low Voltage Technician to join our team. As a Low Voltage Technician, you will be responsible for leading a team, installing, maintaining, and repairing low voltage systems and equipment. This is a hands-on role that requires technical expertise in areas such as electrical work, computer networking, and system design.

Duties:

- Install and configure low voltage systems, including security systems, fire alarms, access control systems, and CCTV systems

- Perform routine maintenance and inspections of low voltage equipment

- Troubleshoot and repair issues with low voltage systems

- Collaborate with clients to determine their specific needs and design customized solutions

- Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams

- Conduct field service visits to client locations for installations or repairs

- Provide training to clients on the operation and maintenance of low voltage systems

Skills:

- Proficiency with power tools and electrical equipment

- Ability to detect and diagnose issues with low voltage systems

- Knowledge of IDS (Intrusion Detection Systems) and locksmithing techniques

- Strong understanding of computer networking principles

- Mechanical knowledge for installation of equipment

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams

- Excellent problem-solving skills

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work

- Effective communication skills for working with clients and team members
