Position Summary:
Chief of Staff is a trusted advisor to the CEO to help execute on strategic initiatives driving short term and long-term growth. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, natural relationship builder, an out-of-the-box thinker, and comfortable in a fast-paced work environment. This role will oversee program management of company-wide strategic initiatives and works closely with both internal senior executive leadership as well as external parties and key stakeholders, including Brynwood Partners.
Primary Position Responsibilities:
- Provide senior-level project management support for key initiatives across the company, including developing and maintaining an inventory of prioritized initiatives.
- Monitor and report on progress against key priorities, objectives, and milestones to help CEO and senior leadership team deliver on business targets.
- Own the execution of the tactics, prep work, and planning for all leadership meetings.
- Facilitate regular internal team and stakeholder communications by managing weekly leadership meetings; recommend agenda items; manage coordination of materials, and record and share out meeting minutes to ensure follow-up on action items.
- Ensure execution of agreed-upon actions and effective flow of relevant information across the organization.
- Coordinate development of content for a wide range of materials to support the CEO, including internal and external presentations, and data analysis.
- Maximize team efficiency via budget control, deploy and effectively leverage technology, standard processes, and resources.
- Maintain strong relationships with key business leaders to identify opportunities to improve our SOPs, best practices, and ways of working.
Position Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance and/or engineering. MBA is preferred.
- 5-10 years of experience in progressively more senior and complex roles. Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry experience is preferred.
- Relevant experience in strategic planning, analytics, project management, and operations.
- Exercise appropriate discretion on confidential and time sensitive matters.
- Strong drive for results and action orientation.
- Success in this role requires keen strategic insight, strategic planning and execution experience, excellent communication skills and superior business acumen.
- Demonstrated success in stakeholder engagement and strategic communication.
- You must be an effective collaborator, have broad project management experience and be able to communicate expectations and hold yourself and others accountable.
