Server Administrator

Job Description
Due to some recent turnover, we are down two members for the windows server team, and I’d like to replenish them in the coming weeks. One position is expected to be low to mid experience level, and the other position needed is for a seasoned IT professional. I try to never make heard limits on experience needed, but the higher-level position will require 5-year minimum years of experience. The skills required and responsibilities are laid out below, and of course the higher-level position will be expected to be able to do more if not all and pick up the pace faster.

To re-iterate, We need 2 positions as described below.

• Low to mid-level = Some IT experience (preferably servers), troubleshooter and eager to learn, but can be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
• High level IT veteran= 5 year minimum in servers and is familiar to strong in the below skill sets. The candidate will need to proficient in troubleshooting and coordinating with other groups.

Skills Required

• A history of resolving security vulnerabilities and supporting security incident response.
• History of supporting servers in a VMware environment.
• Strong experience troubleshooting Server OS issues.
• Experience with windows SQL clusters.
• Ability to support .net IIS applications.
• Desire to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Project management or leadership skills
• Ability to work well with multiple teams to solve issues and advance projects.
• Initiative to take ownership of problems and see them through to the resolution.
• Technical documentation skills

Job Type: Contract

Pay: Up to $35.00 per hour
