- Bachelor's degree or certification from culinary school is preferred

A Day In The Life
The Corporate Chef will be responsible for recipe consistency & development, food safety, and quality control, as well as hiring and training new BOH employees, and have an active role in our recruiting process.
Works closely with and trains Kitchen Managers and other workers in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of the food to Hash Kitchen standards- Work closely with R&D teams to bring products to market
- Attend tradeshows, trainings and plant tours as assigned
- Monitors training processes and meets regularly with trainers to discuss staff member progress and goals
- Manage and oversee company-wide food operations
- Oversee inventory, ordering processes, monitor and manage food COGS
- Leader in quality control, food safety laws and procedures, and restaurant food safety guidelines
- Checks and maintains proper food holding and refrigeration temperature control points.
- Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities
- Controlling and directing the food preparation process and any other relative activities
- Constructing menus with new or existing culinary creations ensures the variety and quality of the servings.
- Estimate food requirements and food/labor costs
- Develop and oversee company-wide food production training and menu knowledge

- Ensure food production, quality, plating, and serving standards are constantly followed
- Plan orders of equipment or ingredients according to identified shortages
- Remedy any problems or defects
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
