HSS is seeking a project manager with 6-10 years of experience.
We are seeking an experienced architect to work full-time leading projects from concept to construction.
Candidates must have the following qualifications to be considered for the position:
- Bachelor of Architecture or Master of Architecture degree
- At least five years of post-graduate professional experience, preferably more
- Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills with a range of individuals, including clients, consultants, and other architects.
- Experience managing project financials effectively, including project budgeting, scheduling and contract negotiations.
- Effective client relationship skills for leading and working with diverse teams of designers.
- Ability to support technical design and documentation on projects of various sizes and complexities.
- Ability to assume responsibility for project correspondence, reports, documentation, and general administration.
- Dedication to excellence in design and technical facets of the project.
Other position qualifications include:
- Prior experience in all phases of a project, including Construction Documents and Contract Administration.
- Prior experience managing the work of consultants.
- Prior experience supervising the work of junior staff.
- Ability to work in a collaborative, open environment.
- Ability to solve problems creatively.
- Architectural license, passive house accreditation, and/or LEED accreditation is a plus.
- Fluency in Revit a plus.
- Fluency Arabic a plus.
- Flexibility to travel for international projects.
