We are currently seeking a SCA Helpdesk II to join our team in Nashville, Tennessee (US-TN), United States (US).

Level 1 Service Desk Support Specialist (Senior)

Job Summary :

The Service Desk Specialist must apply fundamental concepts, processes, practices, and procedures on technical assignments. Must perform work that requires practical experience and training. Work is performed under supervision.

Essential Functions:

  • Respond to and diagnose problems through discussions with users
  • Ensures a timely process through which problems are controlled. Includes problem recognition, research, isolation, resolution, and follow-up steps
  • Provides support to end users on a variety of issues
  • Identifies, researches, and resolves technical problems
  • Responds to telephone calls, email and personnel requests for technical support
  • Documents, tracks, and monitors the problem to ensure a timely resolution
  • Interacts with network services, software systems engineering, and/or applications development to restore service and/or identify and correct core problem
  • Simulates or recreates user problems to resolve operating difficulties
  • Recommends systems modifications to reduce user problems
  • Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the manager’s discretion

Preferred Education/Certification:

  • Microsoft Certified exam qualifying as a Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) for Office 2007 or later (preferred)
  • HDI- SCA
  • A
  • ITILv4- within 120 days

Must have experience:

  • Over 5 years of current experience in supporting a call center-type service desk as a Tier 1 technician
  • 5 years experience resolving complex technical hardware and software issues
  • 1 years experience with an IT service management framework like ITIL

Work Authorization Status:

Must be legal United States citizens or legal permanent residents (i.e. “Green Card holders”)

Where law requires, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this remote role is $35k to $60k. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on several factors, including the candidate’s actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.

This position is eligible for company benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance with an employer contribution, flexible spending or health savings account, life and AD&D insurance, short and long-term disability coverage, paid time off, employee assistance, participation in a 401k program with company match, and additional voluntary or legally-required benefits.
