Hatalom is seeking a Technical Instructor to join our team. The Technical Instructor will provide Command Maintenance Evaluation and Training (COMET) services in support of United States Army Forces Command (FORSCOM) Units. The Technical Instructor will organize and draft a curriculum that breaks a complex subject into blocks or units of instruction, graphics, and integrates them into supply focused training. Courses may be instructor based, computer-based, simulator based, interactive, or non-interactive rather over-the-shoulder assistance or in a classroom. This opportunity is available contingent upon contract award.
Job Responsibilities:
Provide resident logistics expertise in the following logistics disciplines:
- Field and Sustainment supply activities for Class I, II, III, IV, V, VII, VIII, and IX commodities
- Property management, control, and security
- Unit movement; maintenance management practices and procedures
- Logistics Information Systems (LIS); logistics readiness reporting
- Maintenance of wheeled and tracked vehicles; engineer; armament
- Small arms
- Communications equipment; night vision devices; nuclear, biological and chemical systems
- Test Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE)
- Drivers training
- Prepare and deliver briefings, point papers, reports, fact sheets, and respond to assigned command as needed.
- Develop logistics assessment, review, and analysis programs that are compliant with the intent and the published policies and procedures in support of the Senior Mission Commander.
- Examine unit maintenance and supply activities and processes to ensure compliance with applicable Army regulations, field manuals, technical publications, and FORSCOM policies.
- Coordinate and collate reports from all Command Maintenance and Evaluation Training (COMET) advisors and provide an initial report of findings upon completion of the assistance visit; draft detailed briefing of findings and an executive-level summary of findings and trends to the Assisted Unit.
- Travel to receive training on new systems or programs that are associated with Army logistics and require inclusion in the COMET curriculum.
Minimum Requirements:
· Five (5) years knowledge of military logistics management and operations, to include management of tasks involving the sustainment and maintenance of all Army supplies and equipment.
· Possess a high degree of technical and management expertise in tactical logistics operations; experience in the analysis of command logistics programs to include shortcomings, development of corrective recommendations and presentation of findings to the senior leadership.
· Previous experience as instructor in maintenance and supply management practices and procedures preferred.
· Ability to communicate directly to and through correspondence with senior Army leaders to include General Officer levels.
· Subject Matter Experts (SME) with five (5) years’ experience in one or more of the following functional areas:
o The Army Maintenance Management System,
o The Army Materiel Maintenance Policy
o Supply Policy Below the National Level
o Using Unit Supply Systems
o Physical Security, Environmental Programs
· Proficiency in the following Logistics Information Systems:
o Global Combat Support System – Army (GCSS-ARMY)
o Decision Support Tool (DST)
o Standard Army Ammunition System Modernization (SASMOD)
o Theater Operations Automated Movement and identification Solutions (TC-AIMS)
o Very Small Aperture Terminal (V-SAT)
o Strategic Support Area Business Reporting Environment (SABRE) Viz,
o Microsoft Office
o Vantage
· Knowledgeable in the following:
o Army Logistics Publications
o Army Award for Maintenance Excellence
o Army Oil Analysis Program
o Army Warranty Program
o Sample Data Collection Program, Army Modification Program
o Army Maintenance Floats, Drivers Training
o Product quality deficiency and/or improvement reports
