POSITION SUMMARY :
- Provide preventative maintenance functions.
- Repairs involving plumbing components / systems, electrical, drywall and painting, HVAC systems, furnishings, and equipment.
- Maintain and repair equipment following department safety practices.
- Maintain facility equipment in accordance with department policies and procedures and manufacturers’ recommendations to ensure safe operating conditions.
Perform electrical safety inspection on new equipment and tag appropriately.
- Follow department procedures and take appropriate precautions to maintain employee and patient safety during work activities.
- Conduct specified inspections / servicing as required to comply with all Life Safety Code and Joint Commission requirements.

Up to 75 pounds
EDUCATION :
High School Diploma
EXPERIENCE :
Skills and employment experience in the following areas : drywall repairs and / or installation, painting, plumbing repairs, minor electrical maintenance / repair, landscaping maintenance, HVAC maintenance and repairs, appliance, furnishings and basic equipment maintenance & repairs.
