What are the responsibilities and job description for the Teacher position at Hawaii Robotics?
The Hawaii Robotics is hiring teachers for after-school STEM enrichment programs.
The STEM programs we offer are robotics, coding and little medical school programs. Limited experience is needed as we will train new hires on our curriculum. Experience with teaching children, knowledge of health a plus.
- Robotics: Robotics uses fun, hands-on projects to get students creative juices flowing. Students build and program robots with LEGO bricks and software. - Coding: Coding skills through interactive and exciting projects. Students have a blast creating video games, animated stories and bring their imaginations to life. - Little Medical School: Little Medical School INSPIRES students to be doctors! This program is hands-on, fun-filled with role playing, experiments and games.
The programs are hosted at a variety of Elementary Schools around the island. Candidates must have a car to travel to the different locations. Programs are run during the Fall and Spring semesters during after-school hours and usually start at 1:30 or 2:30. In a day, a teacher will typically teach one session (hour) and maybe two sessions (2 hours). For example, a candidate may be assigned to teach at 3-5 schools across the week.
Job requirements - Experience teaching children - Must have a car for transportation - Bachelor's Degree a plus

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
