Job Overview
We are currently looking forpaid Industrial Design Intern to join our team in Holland, MI. This is an onsite internship.
As an Industrial Design Intern you will:
Participate in a carefully designed internship program that will provide you with meaningful work and learning opportunities. You will learn about Haworth, meet other interns, and participate in workshops to develop your communication, presentation and networking skills.
You will also have an opportunity to work with multiple functional groups within the Global Innovation and Design group assisting with design projects, custom work, and a variety of other projects and assignments.
Do you have these required qualifications?
- Part-time or full-time college enrollment, working towards bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or Furniture Design with at least a junior level status by Fall of 2024.
- Ability to provide yourcurrent portfolio. You may upload your portfolio to additional documents in your profile or ensure there is a hyper link on your resume for the hiring team to access it. Applications will not be reviewed without a portfolio provided.
- Ability to work in Holland, MI from May 2024 to August 2024 without relocation or housing assistance.
- Requires current and continuing right to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Ideally, you have also demonstrated the following:
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Working knowledge of personal computers, spreadsheet applications and keyboard skills.
- Desire to learn, question, and research solutions to problems.
- Organized with the ability to manage deadlines.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
