What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Control position at Hayes Company LLC?
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Must be successful in working in a team environment.
- Must be able to maintain production and meet all quotas in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to rotate to every task in work area and every labor task in production departments.
- Ensure pallet contents equal electronic pallet contents before leaving area.
- Ensure pallets are stacked, wrapped and/or banded to standards for secure storage and shipment.
- Report picking discrepancies to team lead and supervisor.
- Report banding/wrapping discrepancies to team lead and supervisor.
- Resolve employee issues through problem resolution.
- Ensures company safety and employee relations policy and procedures are followed.
- Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
- Proactively works to assist others in achieving the organizations objectives.
- Any other duties as assigned.
Required Experience and Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent is typically required.
- Experience with inventory management software and equipment such as hand-held scanners and forklifts is usually preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy is important for this role.
- Good organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills are also necessary.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Able to handle multi-tasking and able to adapt to changing priorities.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and move heavy boxes and other materials.
