What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeper position at HayMax Hotels, LLC?
Position Summary:
Reporting to the Housekeeping Manager, our Housekeepers ensure the daily cleaning of all of the hotel guest rooms and any public areas, contributing to our guest comfort. Must be available to begin shift at 9 am and have the flexibility to work M-F, weekends and holidays.
Job Responsibilities:
- Distribute clean linens upon arrival.
- Maintain cleanliness of closets.
- Communicate with Manager to go over check out list.
- Strip down all room check outs.
- Assist with the cleaning of the rooms when needed.
- Assist with cleaning public areas and other assigned duties.
- Pick up trash from rooms and closets and dispose of all trash to trash containers at the end of the day.
- Separate all soiled towels. Wash, dry and fold to later distribute to the closets.
- Restock closets with clean towels and linens; stock room with cleaning supplies.
- Clean hallways and stairways as required per Supervisor.
- Assist with any other assigned duties.
Skills and Abilities:
- Maintain consistency, efficiency and uphold high standards of cleanliness, order and organization.
- Must have strong attention to detail.
- Must report to work in uniform and arrive to all shifts on time.
- Must work well under supervision and be a team player.
- Must be punctual.
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to lift, push and pull a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time, kneel and squat.
- Must be able to walk up and down stairways.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous Housekeeping experience preferred.
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
- Basic understanding of English preferred.
Salary : $29,800 - $37,800
