Job Posting for Ambulance Driver/EMR at Haynes Ambulance
Haynes Ambulance is a family owned and operated EMS company. Flexible shifts are available with room to grow with in house EMT and EMT Advanced classes.
Haynes Ambulance is looking for Full-time ambulance drivers who will receive a two-week classroom training course where they will obtain their EMR, EVOC and CPR certificates before additional training is received in the field.
Ambulance Driver Duties:
Must possess physical agility necessary to lift and move patients safely
Must be neat and clean at all times
Must possess good written and verbal communication skills
Must pass company Physical test and Drug Test
Must have temperament to deal professionally with disabled, disadvantaged, sick and injured persons
Must be flexible to scheduling needs of the company
Essential Driver Duties:
Emergent Ambulance Transportation
Non-emergent Ambulance Transportation
Hospital Transfers
Daily vehicle inspection and equipment/supply checklist
Cleaning and basic maintenance of vehicles (inside and outside)
Safely lifting and moving patients onto and off of the stretcher and in and out of the ambulance
Familiarization of geographical area and use of maps
Utilization of radio communication equipment
Knowledge of and adherence to Protocols
Standby and on-call
Adherence to standard operating procedures
Ambulance Driver Requirements: *23 years old
Valid Driver's license
Good Driving record
High School Diploma or GED
Must pass PT and drug test
