Machine Operator

Position Overview:  Responsible to maintain and operate the Wave Solder, Selective Solder, and Conformal Coating machines.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 6 months production work experience preferably from within a manufacturing industry
• An electro-mechanical aptitude is desirable
• Ability to work cross-functionally with individuals and teams to achieve department/production goals
• Strive for continuous process improvement in daily activities
• Ability to follow through on tasks assigned to completion
• Ability to work with a diverse workforce
• Must be able to stand at work station for up to 8 hours
• Must be able to lift up to 26 lbs.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience

Responsibilities:

• Daily/hourly maintenance of the Wave Solder, Selective Solder, and Conformal Coating machines
• Ensures PCBs are fed from the conveyor into the wave solder machine
• Receives PCBs as they exit the wave solder machine
• Inspects and places PCBs onto Lead Saw machine to trim leads, check for solder shorts and cut PCBs
• Sorts PCBs for next inspection steps
• Re-Inspects PCBs and places into tote bins for testing
• Maintains cleanliness of work area
• Hand soldering of components to boards
• Other duties may be assigned as required
