Responsible for oversight, including the administrative and clinical functions, of the American Psychological Association (APA)-accredited doctoral psychology internship program. Involved in all aspects of the internship program’s design, creation, and implementation per APPIC guidelines. Provide clinical services and clinical supervision using doctoral-level knowledge, skills, and attitude to perform and provide supervision of research and scholarly inquiry, assessment, intervention, consultation, communication and documentation, professional identity development, and individual and cultural differences. Oversee and monitor clinical services provided by trainees in the programs they serve in collaboration with site psychologists. Coordinate with mental health managers to ensure efficient and effective operations in regional mental health clinics. Participate in site-specific, regional, and organization-wide initiatives and projects. Provide supervision and patient care as needed to support quality of patient experience at Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation. Accountable for working with relevant leadership/stakeholders to establish and track metrics for performance and successful completion of internship.
